The 1 (straight) arm rotating sconce is placed above a desk, an armchair, or a bed. Its rotation from wall to wall allows a range of lighting that will be appreciated, especially as a reading lamp. Note that this lamp is the only one in the entire collection to be mounted upside down (arm running above the canopy). This trick has been applied several times when J-boxes are too low inside the wall.
